Mr. Wyman Carnell Spradley

Vaucluse, SC—Entered into rest February 8, 2023 at Augusta University Medical Center.  Mr. Wyman Carnell Spradley, age 89, graveside service will be held Saturday February 11, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Vaucluse Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Phillips officiating.  He was the beloved husband of the late Mrs. Gladys Cockrell Spradley.  He was born in Batesburg, SC to the late Mr. Fletcher Spradley and the late Mrs. Irene Hartley Spradley . He had made Vaucluse his home for the past 65 years.  Mr. Spradley was a truck driver and worked in various divisions of Graniteville Company, then later retired in 2003 from the Avondale Company.  He loved sitting on the front porch watching the cars and birds go by.  He loved his dogs Peggy Sue, Gracie, and Maggie. Survivors include: three sons, Blanding (Rhonda) Spradley, Burnettown, SC, Marty (Debbie) Spradley, Vaucluse, SC, and Jeffrey (Karen) Spradley, Warrenville, SC; one daughter, Darnell (Jimmy) Gay, Vaucluse, SC; one brother Cyril Spradley, one sister, Peggy Oswald, Batesburg, SC; three grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Greene, Cameron Spradley, and Christy Spradley, and four great grandchildren.  Mr. Spradley was predeceased by one son, Bruce Spradley,  two sisters, Barbara Oswalt and Gertrude Kneece, and six brothers, Fletcher L. Spradley, Lester L. Spradley, Louis M. Spradley, C.B. Spradley, Cecil S. Spradley, and Eugene D. Spradley.
