PACE, William Preston - On Sunday February 11, 2024, William "Rusty" Preston Pace, Jr. died in Charleston, SC, at home. He was the son of William P. Pace, Sr. and Irene Mundy Pace of Charleston, SC. Rusty was born on June 29, 1954, in Charleston, SC. Mr. Pace attended and graduated Middleton High School in Charleston, SC. He is survived by his sister, Norma Pace, Warrenton, VA, two nieces, Kathleen Shankle, Centreville, VA, and Allison Stancliff, Bealeton, VA; five great-nieces, Megan Reed, Warrenton, VA, Emma Barlet, Springfield, VA, Hayley Shankle of Centreville, VA and Rachel Stancliff and Alexis Stancliff of Bealeton, VA, as well as Megan's children, Easton Reed, Charlotte Reed, and Elizabeth Reed; Other surviving family members include: Mary Kay Dunbar and John Dunbar, Salley, SC.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Hampton Park Gazebo, 30 Mary Murray Dr, Charleston, SC 29403.  A Graveside Service will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at The First Baptist Church of Windsor with Rev. William Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 12:30 PM until the time of service at the gazebo.
