Clarkesville, GA— A celebration of life service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home with Pastor Rick West officiating. Mr. William “Billy” Curtis Cole Jr., age 47, entered into rest on December 31, 2023 at Northeast Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.  He was the son to  Mr.  William "Bill" C. Cole Sr. and Mrs. Susan Gleason Cole and was the beloved fiancé to Miss Amanda Carter. Billy was a Christian of the Baptist faith. He was a native of Aiken, but had lived in Clarkesville, GA for the last eight years where he worked in maintenance at the Department of Corrections. While living in Aiken, Billy worked at the Sheriff’s office for Aiken County, and the Police departments in Ridge Spring and New Ellenton.  He also worked in maintenance at Cumberland Village and worked security at Aiken Technical College. Billy enjoyed playing video games, wood working, cooking, and was an avid Gamecock fan.  Billy will be missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: one son, Anthony Michael Cole, Wagener; one daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Cole, Wagener; one sister, Catherine Elaine  (Kyle) Corley, Ballentine; one niece, Tatum Elaine Corley; and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
