New Ellenton, SC—Mr. Virgil Raye “Pete” Wilkins, Jr., age 64, entered into rest Tuesday April 19, 2022 at his residence. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Virgil Raye Wilkins, Sr. and the late Mrs. Phyllis Reese Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins was a native and lifelong resident of the Aiken area. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Levels Baptist Church. Mr. Wilkins was a master electrician and served Bradley Heating & Air for 30 years. He was a United States veteran of the Marine Corp. Mr. Wilkins was an artist who enjoyed painting. Survivors include two sisters Tanjia (Charles) Ashley, Johnston, SC, and Hollye (Andre) Johnson, Martinez, GA.
