Warrenville, SC—Mr. Tommy Ray Watkins, age 78, entered into his eternal rest on Monday March 10, 2025, at Wellstar Augusta. He was the beloved husband to the late Mrs. Brenda V. Watkins and a son to Mrs. Madeline Turner Brown and the late Mr. Luther Watkins. Mr. Watkins was born in Augusta, GA, and had spent his whole life in the Aiken area. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved animals, and was known for picking up strays to find them new homes. Mr. Watkins also loved classic rock, thrifting, and fishing with his wife. He was an excellent cook. He never met a stranger and was known for his kindness and generosity. One of his favorite things to do was going to visit his mother and spend time with her. He was a loving son, husband, father, and brother. He leaves behind his loving mother Mrs. Madeline Turner Brown, eight daughters, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Brenda V. Watkins, brother Luther “Tony” Watkins and his sister Beverly Watkins.
