Theodore “Teddy” Rains

 Aiken, SC—Mr. Theodore “Teddy” Rains, age 62, entered into rest on Thursday January 16, 2025, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was the beloved husband to Mrs. Carolyn Winn and a son to the late Mr. Cleveland Rains and the late Mrs. Fannie Mae Bullard. Mr. Rains was of the Christian faith, and a member of Overcomers Outreach Augusta where he played the drums. He loved working on car rims, reading history, eating crab legs, and watching NFL. Mr. Rains enjoyed many things in life, but most of all he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He was loved and will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Additional survivors include: two daughters Michelle (Ryan) Tuten, Lakeland, GA, and Wanda McDuff, Aiken; one brother Eddie (Therese) Rains, Edgefield; two sisters Virginia (James) Rucker, Aiken, and Laura Lunsford, Atlanta; and five grandchildren Noah Tuten, Lakeland, GA, Chloe (Dalton) Rizer, Quitman, GA, Samantha McDuff, Aiken, Connor McLester Warrenville, and TJ McLester, Warrenville. Mr. Rains was preceded in death by one brother Cleveland Rains.
