Batesburg, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Susan Elinor Bostick Carp, age 72, will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday September 30, 2023, at Earle Church of God  with Pastor Ronald Lee officiating. Mrs. Carp entered into rest on Sunday September 17, 2023 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Mr. Eric Peter Carp and the daughter to the late Mr. Harry Bostick and the late Mrs. Elinor Damsgard Bostick. Mrs. Carp was a native of Brooklyn, NY, but had made Batesburg her home since 2008. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Earle Church of God. Mrs. Carp was a bank teller for South State Bank in South Aiken for 10 years. In her free time, she loved swimming. Additional survivors include: one son Paul (Carolyn) Carp, Waynesboro, VA; one daughter Lisa Carp, Highpoint, NC; one sister Patricia Schonfeld, New Milford, NJ; and three grandchildren Hunter Troup, Sean Klapman, and Brian Klapman.
