Patricia Ann “Pat” Gantt Cook
Aiken—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” Gantt Cook, age 73 will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Clearwater Branch Baptist Church with Rev. David Young and Rev. David Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Cook will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.
Mrs. Cook entered into rest Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, GA. She was a native of New Holland and had made Aiken County her home all her life. Mrs. Cook was the beloved wife of 55 years to Mr. Harold H. Cook and a daughter of the late Mr. Colie L. Gantt and the late Mrs. Ida Chalflinch Gantt. She taught at South Aiken Baptist Church Daycare with 20 years, and was a member of Clearwater Branch Baptist Church, Aiken, SC.
Additional survivors include two sons, Ray (Marie) Cook, Fairfax, VA, Donnie Cook, Aiken; two daughters, Teresa (James) Moore, Windsor, Connie Cook, Aiken; one sister, Betty (Lester) Hall, Aiken, two grandchildren, Lauren Cook, Summerville, and Jonathan Cook, Fairfax, VA, three close and special friends, Mark, Amber, and Avery Chase.
Mrs. Cook was also predeceased by one brother, Larry Gantt, and two sisters, Louise Shumpert, Myrtle Hankinson.
Serving as pallbearers are Jonathan Cook,  Ryan Lamb, Shanon Boothe, Andy Deering, Ronnie Higingbottom, Larry Lamb, Tim Garnto, Steve Garnto, and Tim Graves.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Clearwater Branch Baptist Church, 235 Crooked Creek Road, Aiken, SC, 29805.
