North Augusta, SC—A celebration of life service for Pastor Dr. Bobby Wayne Winkler, Jr. age 60 will be held 11:00 am Monday July 12, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Moore and Bro. Don Prosser officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Park.  Bro. Bobby entered into rest Tuesday July 6, 2021 at University Hospital, Augusta. He was born in Tampa, Florida and had made Aiken County his home for most of his life.  Bro. Bobby was the beloved husband of Mrs. Dianne Bunce Winkler and a son of Mrs. Iris Dale Hall Winkler of Aiken and the late Mr. Bobby Wayne Winkler, Sr.  He was a 1980 graduate of Baptist University of America, Decatur, GA, and received his Masters Degree from Luther Rice Seminary in Stonecrest, GA. Bro. Bobby went on and earned his Doctorate degree from Capella University in Florida.  Bro. Bobby was the Pastor of former Liberty Baptist Church, Aiken and where he was also the Head Master of Liberty Christian Academy from 1989-1999.  Bro. Bobby Pastored South Gate Baptist Church in Augusta, GA for 12 years, and presently was the Sr. Adult Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church, Martinez, GA. Bro. Bobby was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church, Martinez, GA.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed baseball watching the Atlanta Braves. Bro. Bobby was a family man and serving his Lord Jesus Christ through ministry and being a counselor in Behavioral Health.  Additional survivors include one son, Nathan Wayne (Maleah) Winkler, Evans, GA; two daughters, Christa and Charity Winkler, North Augusta; three brothers, Allen Drake Winkler, Aiken, Patrick Wade Winkler, Ringgold, GA, Andrew Kenneth Winkler, Arden, NC; four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Drake, Patrick, Andrew, Nathan Winkler, Larry Bunce, and Mark Dalrynple.
