Mrs. Mary Lou Brooks Hall

Aiken, SC-- Mrs. Mary Lou Brooks Hall, age 76, entered into rest on July 1, 2024, at Pruitt Health in Aiken. She was born in Aiken to the late Mr. Ezlie Brooks and the late Mrs. Louise Weathersbee. She was the loving wife to the late Mr. Monroe Hall, Sr. She was a member of Clear Water Branch Baptist Church, Aiken, SC. She loved watching westerns and anything John Wayne. Her hobbies included listening to music, gardening, and fishing. She loved dogs, especially chihuahuas. She was always smiling, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Mary will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Survivors include: two sons, Monroe Hall, Jr., Aiken and Whit Hall, Aiken; one brother, Jim Brooks, Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Rosalee Woodward, Aiken, Bertha Goff, Aiken, Connie Brooks Turner, Aiken; grandchildren Monroe “Boodie” Hall III, Caydence Hall, Denovan Hall, Noah Hall; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son Herbert Ezlie Hall; two brothers, Joe Brooks and Herbert Brooks; two sisters, Lydia Mae Herron and Louise Midget; and one grandson Justin Hall.
