Margaret Ann Cooke Valley Dunbar

Aiken, SC--Margaret Ann Cooke Valley Dunbar, a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.  Our "Ga" as she liked to be called by her grandchildren, was a great mom, daughter, sister and friend.  Margaret Ann was renowned for her great attitude shown to everyone during her eight year battle with cancer.  Many people talk about her beautiful spirit and smiling face, even on her hardest days.  Loved ones that cleared the path for Margaret are her mother and father Harry Conrad and Clara Hughes Cooke.  Loved ones that will miss Margaret until they meet again are her daughter and son in-law Angela Valley Vitense and Billy Vitense (Edmonds,WA); her daughter Molli Brown Dunbar (Monroe, MI); her stepson Michael Johns Dunbar (Indiatlantic, FL); her son and son in-law Frank Hughes Dunbar and Pablo Alonso (Miami, FL); and her grandchildren Claire Eve Wasilewski, Jax Owen Vitense, Eann Cole Dunbar and Bode John Vitense.  Her Brother Conrad Cooke and his wife Lorraine (Montmorenci, SC); and her sister Marty Carroll and her husband Bill (Penn Valley, CA and her forever friend Linda Valley Young (Clark Hill, SC).  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cumbee Center of Aiken, 135 Lancaster Street SW, Aiken, SC, 29801.  A memorial service, by Rev.
