Aiken, --A celebration of life service for Mrs. Lucille Hall Davidson age 72 will be held 2:00 pm Saturday May 11, 2024 in the chapel of Cole Funeral Home with Pastor Buddy Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Davidson entered into rest Monday May 6, 2024 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Rev. William B. Hall and the late Mrs. Gladys Dalton Hall. Mrs. Davidson retired in 2018 after 35 years of service as a 911 operator for E.I. DuPont de Nemours (Westinghouse). She also was a substitute teacher with the Aiken County School System, and a member of Kedron Baptist Church. Her hobbies include baking cakes, going to the Lake, sewing and her grandchildren. Mrs. Davidson's pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Survivors include one son; Charles “CJ” (Sissy) Johnson, Jackson; one daughter, Melissa (Missy) Jones, Jackson; one sister, Deloris (Ron) Sprague-Senterfeit, Aiken, SC ; five grandchildren, Setler (Trissa) Jones, Gladen Jones, Skyla Jones, MaCade Johnson; Dalton Johnson, and three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Zillian, and Gibson Jones; one brother, Aiken.  In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Good Hope Baptist Church 2118 Silver Bluff Road, Aiken, SC 29803. A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm Friday May 10, 2024 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801.
