Aiken, SC— A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home with Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Park.  Mrs. Linda Sheppard, age 76, entered into rest on July 12, 2024 at the Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center of Aiken. She was the loving wife of over 40 years to the late Mr. William “Bill” Taylor and was the daughter of the late Mr. James H. Freeman and the late Mrs. Betty Geneva Snipes. She was a member of the Elk’s Club. She enjoyed shopping, especially at Belk; and she enjoyed listening to country music. Survivors include: one sister Betty Ann (Kawanis) Collier, Evans, GA. She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Weeks and one half-brother Buck Rodgers. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at Cole Funeral Home.
