Mrs. Jennie L. Redd Bartley

Aiken, SC—A memorial service for Mrs. Jennie Redd Bartley, age 87, will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday October 8, 2024, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Taylor and Rev. Jason Redd officiating. A private interment with the family will take place at Darien Baptist Church at a later date. Mrs. Bartley entered into rest on Saturday October 5, 2024, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Mrs. Bartley was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken. She was the loving wife of the late Mr. Larrie Bartley and a daughter to the late Mr. Joe Darling Redd and the late Mrs. Tance Euella Redd. She was of the Baptist faith and an active member of Darien Baptist Church. Mrs. Bartley worked as a retail worker in the Aiken area for a number of years. She was one of the most loving and friendliest person you would ever meet, and enjoyed shopping. She was loved and will be missed by her friends and family. Survivors include: two brothers Ralph (Wanda) Redd, Aiken, and Wallace L. Redd, New Holland; one grandson Jacob Siglin; one uncle Hiram Redd, Graniteville; one sister-in-law Linda Redd, Aiken;and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bartley was preceded in death by: her daughter Debbie Siglin; two brothers Don Redd and Leonard Redd; and one sister Yvonne Redd. A visitation with the family will take place from 6-8 pm on Monday October 7, 2024, at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
