Mr. James. Arthur Moore
Windsor, SC--A celebration of life service for Mr. James Arthur Moore age 61 will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 1, 2018 at Harvest Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Clear Water Baptist Church cemetery. Mr. Moore will be placed in the church one hour before service. Mr. Moore entered into rest peacefully Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of 23 years to Mrs. Teresa Cook Moore of Windsor and a son of Mrs. Beulah Lee Ezell Moore of Harriman, Tennessee and the late Mr. William Jackson Moore. He was a native of Harriman, Tennessee and had made Aiken County his home for the past 30 years. Mr. Moore retired in 2013 after 30 years of service as a Boiler Maker Welder, his last employment being Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. He was a member of Union Boiler Maker # 687 in Rock Hill and International Brother of Boiler Makers and Harvest Baptist Church, Aiken, where he was an usher, and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Additional survivors include his brother-in-law, Paul H. Miles, Kingston, Tennessee; father-in-law, Harold Cook, Aiken; sister-in-law, Connie Cook, brothers-in-law, Ray Cook of Virginia and Donnie Cook of Aiken; he was predeceased by one sister, Carolyn Sue Miles. Pallbearers will be Larry Lamb, Ryan Lamb, Ronnie Higingbottom, Jonathan Cook, Shanon Boothe, Tim Garnto, Dale Hankinson, and Dean Shumpert. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of Harvest Baptist Church.
