James Russell

Graniteville, SC-James Michael Russell entered into rest at home on August 11, 2024, just 18 days from his 51st birthday. James was born in San Bernardino CA on August 29, 1973, to James Edward Russell Jr. of Cleveland OH and Cecilia Elane Householder of Granite City IL. James spent most of his adult life in Marietta GA where he worked for Hewitt Packard and enjoyed live action role play, acting out many of his favorite characters. In recent years, James moved to Aiken SC to be closer to his wife’s family and make SC their new home. James was married to Jennifer Parsons and they had two boys during their union, David Michael Russell and Michael Jonathon Russell. James really loved his family and was very proud of them.

James is preceeded in death by his father, a niece Tessa Skykaren Hamilton, and a nephew Jonathan Earl Tennant.

James is survived by his two sisters and one brother, (Retired SMSgt USAF) Lillian Elane Allshouse of Honolulu HI, Heidi Regina Quintana-Napier of Palm Coast FL, and George Edward Russell of Granite, OK. He is also survived by 4 nephews, one niece, and a great uncle to 6 nephews and 2 nieces.

James will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard AR.
