Mr. Gerard Henry Marino
Aiken—Entered into rest Saturday, December 13, 2014 at his residence, Mr. Gerard Henry Marino age 84, beloved husband of 55 years to Mrs. Marion McKenna Marino and son of the late Mr. Henry Marino, and the late Mrs. Estelle DeChagas. He was also was predeceased by his one sister, Estelle DiNardo.
Mr. Marino was a native of New York City, N.Y. and had made Aiken, S.C. his home for the past 9 years. He had retired in 1998 as Vice President of Priority Air Freight, Newark, NJ after 25 years of service. Mr. Marino was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC.
Additional survivors include two sons, Gerard (Susan) Marino, Margate, N.J., Michael Marino, Aiken. S.C.; one daughter, Jean Ann (Kenny Mentone) Marino, Absecon, N.J.; his loving grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah Marino and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 27, 2014 at Holy Trinity Parish Roman Catholic Church, Margate, N.J. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J. with military honors accorded by the U.S. Navy ceremonial team.
