Aiken, SC—Mr. Frank E. Poncebacker (Gene), age 82, entered into rest at his residence on Friday June 4, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Jacqueline Ann Poncebaker and the son of the late Mr. Francis Edward Poncebaker and the late Hazel Marie Banta Poncebaker. Mr. Poncebaker was a native of Anderson, IN, and had made Aiken his home for the last 44 years. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Poncebaker retired in 1994 after 17 years of service being a supervisor with Smith Kline, and Beecham. He had also worked at Rick and Linda’s Feed Store in Windsor for 4 years and Enterprise Rent a Car for 17 years in Augusta. Additional survivors include: three daughters Tammy Straton, Phoenix, AZ, Toni Marie (Raejene Riley) Poncebaker, Newark, OH, and Bobbi  Jean (Hendrik Booraem VI) Booraem, Hodges, SC; one sister Marcia D. (Ken) Cummings Sun City, AZ; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Poncebaker was preceded in death by one sister Phyllis Elaine Rice. A private service with the family will be held at a later date.
