Mr. Eugene Waters Weeks, Sr.

Aiken—Entered into rest Friday,  March 14, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mr. Eugene Waters Weeks, Sr., age 71, beloved husband of thirty three years of  Mrs. Patricia Bonnette Cobb Weeks and son of the late  Mr. Harvey Waters and the late Mrs. Mammie Mincy Waters.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Friday March 21, 2014 at Graniteville Cemetery with Rev. Henry Bazemore and Rev. Barry Antley
Officiating. Military honors will be held by the U.S. States Army ceremonial team Ft. Jackson, SC.

Mr. Weeks was a native of Savannah GA and had made Aiken County his home for most of his life.  He was a veteran of U.S. Army. One of Mr. Weeks greatest past times was searching on ancestory.com for  his family history.  He enjoyed fishing and working on his cars as well. Mr. Weeks attended St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville.

Additional survivors include two daughters,  Tanya (Jerry) Odom, Graniteville, Tiffany (Robert) Coleman, Graniteville; one sister, Laverne (Henry) Bazemore, Newington, GA; two brothers, Alton (Betty) Waters, Jacksonville, FL, Charles (Sandy) Waters, Jackson, FL; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Kali, Jaxen Coleman, Cydney, Austin Odom, Amanda Odom, and Jerry Jr. Odom; his dog Flash. Mr. Weeks was predeceased by one son, Eugene “Gene” Waters Weeks,  Jr., one sister, Betty Waters, his adopted parents, Mosley and Lessie Weeks.
