Mrs. Esther N. Whittom Bridgeforth
Windsor, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Esther N. Whittom Bridgeforth, age 88 will be held 2:00 pm Saturday May 27, 2017 at Williams Chapel Church of God, Aiken, SC with Pastor Joyce O’Conner officiating. Interment will be private. Mrs. Bridgeforth entered into rest Sunday May 21, 2017 at Pruitt Health-Aiken. She was born in Naylor, MO, lived in Rutland, IL, 40 years before making Aiken County her home for the past 24 Years. Mrs. Bridgeforth was the wife of the late Mr. Ray Bridgeforth, and a daughter of the late Mr. William Whittom and the late Mrs. Julie LeRoux. She had retired in the medical field as a receptionist and attended the Williams Chapel Church of God where she was known as the church mother. Her hobbies included working in the yard, sewing, and crocheting. Survivors include one son Dennis R. (Debra) Bridgeforth, Suffolk, VA; two daughters, Debra R. (Randy) Hobbs and Dawn (Gary) Lyon both of Windsor; eight grandchildren, Connie Harms, Tanya Harms, William Hobbs, Keesha Turner, Kaitlyn Bridgeforth, Brandy Wood, Brittany Lord, Brandi Lyon, and Amanda Chambers; numerous great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
