Aiken—Entered into rest Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mr. Dwane Walter Smith, age 80, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Louise Janet Esposito and son of the late Mr. Earl Frederick Smith and the late Mrs. Marie Smail Smith.

A celebration of life service with military honors will be held 7:00 pm Friday August 2, 2013 at Grace Covenant Church of God, New Ellenton with John Miano and Rev. Bo Kelley officiating.  Interment will be private in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was a native of Lewistown Montana and had made Aiken his home for the past 39 years.  He retired with Wackenhut at the Savannah River Site. Mr. Smith spent most of his career as a Computer Analyst working at FMC Corporation.  Mr. Smith was a veteran of  the  Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Air Force. He attended the Bethesda Christian Center.

Survivors include one son- Mark Jonathan Smith, Aiken; one daughter- Andrea Smith ( Ronald) Huff, Katy, Texas; one brother- Dale (Cheri) Smith, Simi Valley, CA,; two sisters- Freda Gasser, Prescott, AZ, Connie Miller, Conrad, MT; two grandchildren- Samuel Thomas Huff and Molly Eileen Huff.  Mr. Smith was predeceased by one brother, Glenn Smith.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Food for the Poor, Inc. 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.
