Aiken, SC-- Dorothy Aikens Hudspith, age 96, passed away on August 7, 2023, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Robert Boyd Aikens and Mary Alethia Stanley. She was born May 15, 1927, in Martinsburg, WV. She was married to Raymond Hudspith, 54 years, who passed in 2000. She was the last of her immediate family. She worked at Interwoven Mills and was an LPN, working at King Daughters Hospital.  She attended Shepherd College and earned her RN Degree, working at city hospital until retirement. She was a member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, in Martinsburg, WV.  She attended Level’s Baptist Church, Aiken, SC.  She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Walter) Heck of Fuquay-Varina, NC; a son, Michael (Lou Ann) Hudspith of Aiken, SC; 5 grandchildren, Matthew (Gina) Heck, Thomas (Shawn) Heck, Gregory Hudspith, Michelle(Trenton) Hudspith Seigler, and Devyn (Andy) Frazee; 10 great grandchildren, Ethan Heck, Kingston Heck, Ashlyn Heck, Cole (Kathryn) Heck, Gavin Hudspith, Addison Hudspith, Kaeleigh Seigler, Skyelar Seigler, Macon Frazee, and Wyatt Frazee.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.
