Bath, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Donna Jean Cook, age 66, will be held 3:00 pm Saturday January 10, 2024, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Floyd Hutto officiating. Mrs. Cook entered into rest on Tuesday December 31, 2024, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Leonard B. Cook, and the daughter to the late Mr. Charles H. Meyer Sr. and the late Mrs. Virginia Dorothy Speakman Meyer. Mrs. Cook was a native of West Deptford, NJ, but had made the Aiken area her home for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Cook liked riding on motorcycles, playing pool and darts, cooking, gardening, and listening to music. She was a member of Hozes Bar off of Belvedere Clearwater Road. Mrs. Cook enjoyed many things in life, but she loved her family the most and the opportunity to serve others. She was loved by her friends and family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include: one son Ryan (Rebecca) Paul Weatherill, West Deptford, NJ; one daughter Jessica (Christopher) Knight, Aiken; one brother Charles (Gail) H. Meyer, Jr.; four grandchildren Natalie Knight, Craig Knight, Krislyn Knight, and Quinn Ryan Weatherill; and four nephews Charles H. Meyer, III, Harley David Meyer, Robert Joseph Meyer, Jr., and Brandon Lee Meyer. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by one brother Robert Joseph Meyer, Sr. A visitation with the family will take place from 6-8 pm on Thursday January 9, 2024, at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
