Mr. Conrad "Pop" Edwards Finney

North Augusta, SC—Mr. Conrad Edwards Finney, age 86, entered into rest on July 26, 2023.  He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Mr. Clem Finney, and the late Mrs. Gladys Edwards Finney. Mr. Finney made Aiken his home in 1960.  He was the Utilities Chief at Owens Corning Fiber Glass for over 30 years, where he later retired.  He was an avid golfer and was a member at local golf clubs.  Survivors include two sons, Matthew Finney and Mark Finney; two daughters, Paula Finney and Monae Breece; one step-son, Tim Wright; three step daughters, Arlene Brown, Beverly Price and Teresa Welch; one sister, Naomi Johnson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by one step-son Ray Wright; four brothers, Randall, Dale, Clem Jr., Woodrow Finney; and four sisters, Anna Grace Murphy, Dorothy Casto, Carole Ross, Vonna Murphy.  A visitation with the family will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWAY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801. 803-648-7175.
