Mrs. Brenda Matlock Rollison Whitt
Jackson-- A celebration of life service for Mrs. Brenda Matlock Rollison Whitt age 67, will be 11:0 0 am Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Hillcrest Baptist Church on Highway #278 between Williston and New Ellenton with Rev. David Palmer and Rev. David Hixson Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Whitt will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.
Mrs. Whitt was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Ray Whitt, and daughter of the late Mr. Elmer Dee Matlock and the late Mrs. Catherine Gaylor Matlock. She was a native of Orange Texas, and had made Aiken County her home for the past 60 years. Mrs. Whitt was a seamstress at Aiken Industries, and along with her husband, coached T Ball for a number of years for the Recreational Department in Jackson, SC. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church, Williston.
Survivors include two sons, Ray (Kori) Whitt, Summerville, Dallas (Taylor Spires) Whitt, Jackson; three daughters, Tamara (Kim Kouba) Matlock, Pooler, GA, Crystal (Dana McCoy) Rollison, New Ellenton, Rayette (Chris) Godson, Aiken; one brother, Benny (Rita) Matlock, New Ellenton; seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild, and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Whitt was predeceased by three sons, Shawn Matlock, Frank James Rollison, Dewayne Whitt; two sisters, Donna Holmes and Wanda Minick.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Matlock, Matthew McDaniel, Jessie Holmes, Glenn Whitt, Joshua Rinder, and Jeremy Rinder.
The family would like to express a gratitude of thanks to Aiken Regional Medical Centers PCU and 3RD floor staff, and the staff at Liberty Hospice for their Compassionate care and support.
