Berry Simpkins

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Berry Simpkins on November 27, 2024. Born on May 24, 1981, Berry left an indelible impact on all who knew him, filled with his ever-present joy, vibrant spirit, and a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter.

Berry was a man of many talents. Known widely for his vivacious personality, he was best described as a fun-loving, cool soul who had a deep passion for singing and dancing. His laughter was infectious, and his spirit was like a beacon drawing those around him to happiness and joy. Berry not only believed in the importance of family but lived it out daily, ensuring kinship and unity were core elements of his existence.

He leaves behind a host of mourners to cherish his memory. He is survived by his loving wife, Apral Simpkins, whom he married in 2016. His memory also endures in his children, Cameron Jones, Nykia Simpkins, Jaimya Simpkins, Ciara Simpkins, and Dahkir-Nashon Anderson.

He is further survived by his mother, Sylvia Simpkins; his father, Victor (Jean) Simpkins, Sr; his brother Victor (Dianne) Simpkins, Jr; his brother Marco Simpkins; his sisters Tangi (Kenny) Palmore, Kerstin Durden and Keisha Simpkins and a host of family and friends. His memory will no doubt continue to thrive within each of their lives.

Berry was predeceased by his brother , Sean Simpkins; his uncle Keith Simpkins; his grandfathers Frampton Simpkins and Augustus Simpkins, Jr; and his grandmothers Anne Marie Simpkins and Hythenia Simpkins.

Berry's light and love will be forever missed, forever remembered, and forever carried forward. As a family, we will continue to swim in the sea of love he created and let our lives be the proof of his extraordinary existence.
