Barbara Evelyn Mull-Burlett-Keogh
October 29,1940 – June 23,2022
Barbara Mull-Burlett-Keogh passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family.
Born October 29, 1940, in Glens Falls, NY to Alvin C. Mull and Evelyn (Riley) of South Glens Falls.
In 1958 Barbara married Robert C. Burlett and they had three daughters before his untimely death in 1966. Eight years later she met the love of her life, USAF MSgt Ret. Edward M Keogh whom she married in 1973.
Barb liked to travel, garden, and breed dogs. She raised Lhasa Apso’s; Shelties and Schipperke. Barb loved to play Bingo in all the locales she lived with the same “Lucky Charms” flanking her multiple sheets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ed (December 2021) and her brother Clifton (2018). She is survived by daughters Colleen Kendall (Aiken, SC); Kimberly Brown (N. Augusta, SC); Kelly Marquez (Barstow, CA); brother William Mull (Roseburg, OR); cousin Patty Riley (Balston Lake); sisters-in-law Neldene Edwards Mull (Lake Worth, FL) and Sue Ellen Keogh Payton (Mount Lookout, WV); Kathleen (Keogh) Weatherly, Sparta, TN and one brother-in-law, William (Bill Keogh, Massapeque, NY; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
The family would like to thank PruittHealth Hospice for the kindness and support given to our mother in her final days.
On July 15 at 2:30 Barbara will be laid to rest beside her husband Ed at the Donel Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery Dunbar, WV, and a memorial service on July 16th at 2:30 at the American Legion, 205 Maple Ave W., Fayetteville, WV, 25840.
